Reviews and Ratings
I was excited to stay at this hotel due to its fabulous rooms, especially for the reasonable price paid. However, I was surprised to find out about additional charges for trivial items like a packet of nuts and crisps due to city tax, which felt overpriced. The location was great for being close to the city's attractions, but the rooms were not in the main building, which was a bit unexpected.
I couldn't resist the charm of the frescoed ceiling and antique furniture in the room, booked 9 months in advance. The hair blow dryer came in handy, and the light and airy ambiance, along with the super continental breakfast, set us up perfectly each morning.
The hotel offered a room that did not resemble the one on the website but was situated over a canal with a private courtyard overlooking a picturesque part of Venice, which would be ideal for a longer stay. It was on the first floor. The service was fantastic with extremely pleasant staff going out of their way to assist with various needs. The location was excellent near San Marco, and the dining experience was mixed, with some basic fare and good prices in the Friulli Palace. The facilities were generally good, despite some shortcomings.
